There are 101 different possible weapon combinations that can be created in "Dead Rising 3." Obviously some of these combinations are better than others but each is essentially just a massively powerful version of two or more weapons fused together to create one giant zombie slaying machine. Crafting is easy enough once you have the essential components and is made even easier when you purchase combo categories form the Player Attribute upgrade screen. Below is a list of some of the best combos you should have in your arsenal at all times, courtesy of IGN.
Heavy Metal: A led pipe meshed with a 2x4, with some barbed wire added, you know, just in case. This durable death club is one of the first and most readily available combos in the game, especially if you purchase the 'Bunt Objects' combo category. It is also one of the first blueprints you'll come across, located on top of the black prison bus directly across the street from Rhonda's Garage.
Grim Reaper: There are several different versions of this weapon, the standard G.R. is both sturdy enough to withstand serious use while also being completely capable of cutting down fields of zombies at a time. There are several locations in Ingleton where Grim Reaper blueprints can be acquired: The knife store near the burger joint, on top of the slide in the playground, above the shack near the gun store and behind a wall near the sewer entrance.
Chopper: The only thing that's better than killing zombie hoards with a large axe is killing zombies with a large axe that is duct-taped to a smaller axe. The Chopper provides a quick and powerful attack that allows you to clear multiple zombies out of your way in a single stroke without sacrificing your forward momentum. Find the Chopper blueprint on the rooftop next to the safehouse entrance in southern Ingleton.
DynaMeat: This is one pretty simple. You strap a stick of dynamite to a hunk of meat, in doing so you'll create not only a tasty treat for any zombies coming your way but once they're lured away and occupied, a lovely deathtrap. The blueprint for this can be found at the warehouse or hanger in southern Almuda at the beginning of Chapter 3.
Z.A.R.: This combination of an assault rifle/shotgun will not only allow you to put down groups of zombies in almost no time at all, but it also gives you an instant upper hand in almost every boss or psychopath fight in the game. You can find the blueprints for this weapon at the end of chapter 3 when you enter the police station.
