SAG Nominations 2013: 'American Horror Story', 'Girls' and Jon Hamm Snubbed (FULL LIST)

The nominees for the 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were released Wednesday. While some nominations are obvious, others were surprising.

"Modern Family" received a nomination for best comedy series, and Julie Bowen and Ty Burell both received nods in best female and male actors category, a bit different from past years where the show is overly nominated.

"Homeland," which has received criticism for season two, was nominated in three different categories: best drama show, outstanding action performance by a stunt ensemble and Claire Danes was nominated for Best Female Actress in a drama series.

Anna Gunn from "Breaking Bad" was also nominated as best female actress after recently winning her first Emmy, according to ENews. Kerry Washington from "Scandal" is also on the list competing against Dunes and Gunn.

"Parks and Recreation" was left out once again, and Lena Dunham's "Girls" also didn't make the list, though both are shows have a large and faithful fan following.

"Game of Thrones" received two nominations: one for best drama series and the other for best action performance. Peter Dinklage was the only cast member nominated for best male actor in a drama series.

"American Horror Story: Asylum" was not nominated for any awards, but Jessica Lange is in the running in the lead drama actress category, the only cast member to be given a nomination.

E News made a list of their top snubs by the SAG committee with Tatiana Maslany in "Orphan Black's" where she played seven different characters at the top of their list. "Mad Men" main male character Jon Hamm was also left off the ballot, which ENews claims is "a crime against good acting." This is the first year the hit show was not nominated in the best drama category.
