It has been a big week for news from game developer Konami about its upcoming game "Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes," including the launch date in Europe and North America as well as the reveal of the game's case artwork.

The release date for the game, according to Konami, has been confirmed for March 18, 2014 in the United State and a couple of days later on March 20, 2014 in Europe.

According to IGN, the prequel game to "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" will be available in stores on current gen consoles for £29.99 or £19.99 if you choose to download the game digitally. If you want to get the game on a next-gen console, either PS4 or Xbox One, it will cost £29.99.

If you want to purchase the game in North America, the game will be significantly less expensive at $19.99 on current gen and $29.99 on next-generation consoles.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday Konami revealed the box art for "Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes" through a series of tweets that reveal both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will look like.

The news comes along with a new trailer that reveals an exclusive mission available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 called "Jamais Vu" that lets gamers play as the popular game character Raiden form the previous Metal Gear Solid games.

For those who are wondering if Xbox will be alone in getting exclusive Metal Gear Solid content, you don't need to worry. PlayStation has already been given its "Déjà vu" exclusive story mission that lets players go back to Shadow Moses, the setting of the first game, and play as "Classic Snake."

"I'm most looking forward to the 'pseudo-cloud' era that the next generation of hardware will bring," he said. "It's still one step away from the 'true' cloud revolution, but it will allow players to interact with their games, and each other in new and exciting ways using multiple devices such as tablets and smart devices," said series creator Hideo Kojima to Xbox Wire. "Social experiences and player interaction are what will drive the next wave of games."
