Manchester United plays Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday in the conclusion of the 2013 Champions League group stage. The game starts at 2:45 p.m. ET (8:45 p.m. local). Watch the free live stream provided below.
Shakhtar Donetsk (2-2-1) is three points behind first-place Manchester United (3-2-0) in Group A and needs a win to secure a spot in the next round. A loss or a draw could prevent Shakhtar Donetsk from qualifying, depending on the outcome of Real Sociedad's match against Bayer Leverkusen, who trail Shakhtar Donetsk by one point for second place.
United has struggled in the Premier League, but Shakhtar boss Mircea Lucescu doesn't take any solace in it.
"...For our part we are going to play our best as it is important for us to progress as well," Lucescu said, via IB Times. "Even though (United is) not playing well, these are two different competitions and you can't really compare them. In the Premier League, the English teams know each other and the teams they are playing, but with the Champions League it is a totally different situation."
Manchester United (3-2-0), meanwhile, has played better in the Champions League than in the Premier League (6-4-5). The club is guaranteed a spot in the next round, but advancing as the Group A leader would give United a more preferable matchup in the last 16.
"It's important to give ourselves the best possible chance in the next round but the big job was to make sure that we qualify from the group," United boss David Moyes said. "That part is done and hopefully we can finish off the group unbeaten. And if we do that then that will see us through."
