There are two big stories looming in the background on "Castle" -- the 3XK Killer and the devious Senator Bracken. This season the 3XK Killer, Jerry Tyson, story was revisited when the gang was introduced to the mysterious Dr. Neiman. However, this season has not touched the currently dormant Senator Bracken story - something Stana Katic very much wants to do, according to TVGuide.com.

Katic told the website the story needed some "closure".

"They did a really nice job of developing this 'sleeping dragon' story, and [the end] of that should be done with justice to all of the years that they spent developing that," said Katic.

Currently Jack Coleman, who plays Bracken, is stirring up trouble on fellow ABC show "Scandal" as Vice President Sally Langston's husband. However, show creator Andrew Marlowe said he will bring Coleman back when the time is right.

As for the other story, Marlowe recently spoke about the possible return of Jerry Tyson. He even discussed the end of Episode 8 in which Beckett was mortified once she heard Vera Lynn's "We'll Meet Again." And when I say discussed, I mean dropped a very interesting hint.

"It could be that Beckett is just reacting to the disturbing and terrifying possibility that Tyson or Niemann will be back to toy with her and the people she loves," Marlowe said according to TVLine. "Or maybe, just maybe, Beckett has a personal history with that particular song that makes her think that it was more than just a general threat.

"That maybe someone out there knows more about her past than she realizes."

When asked if the show would revisit the story again in Season 6, Marlowe quoted a bit of Lynn's song.

The show creator said, "I think Vera Lynn said it best when she sang, 'We'll meet again. Don't know where... Don't know when....'"

Hmmmmm.

"Castle" airs Mondays at 10/9c on ABC.
