There's nothing better than a good nap. It's the middle of the day, and maybe life is a little extra tough today, so the only thing to do is succumb to the sandman and crawl into bed. There's nothing abnormal about seeing a dog or a cat taking a nap. They're lucky, lucky creatures that get to lay around all day while we tend to our jobs, homes, personal lives and everything else that life throws at us.

What is abnormal to behold is a dog taking a nap paw-in-wing with a chicken.

Hilariously enough, this is exactly what happens in a video posted by the Humane Society as part of the Farm Animal Protection Campaign. The video is titled "Chicken + Dog = Cat Nap" and was uploaded to the Humane Society U.S.'s Facebook page. It shows that, even though we don't always think of chickens as cuddly and loving, they can be just as caring as a puppy.

One commenter said it all: "Yay for the Humane Society finally recognizing the emotional and sentient and individual lives of what the law considers things [a.k.a.] 'livestock.' All animals, domesticated ones for sure, need and seek out affection, respect and love," said Michele Inman in the video's comment section. This video definitely proves that point.
