If you're currently living in a property that you rent, chances are you're pretty unhappy with your bathroom - especially if you're in a small apartment. 4. If you've got a window, open it every once in a while. Even if it's winter, the ventilation and fresh air will help a tiny bathroom feel less claustrophobic.

5. Put in a cabinet or shelves above the toilet, says HGTV. But beware of things falling into the throne by make sure to only keep items that don't roll in there.
