A baby goat at the Catskill Animal Sanctuary in New York showed great excitement while exploring the outside of the animal shelter, despite only being one day old.

Violet the baby goat, was prematurely born to her mother, a rescued mother goat named Vanna, on Jan. 25. Unfortunately, Vanna was not able to produce enough milk to feed Violet, after focusing what little milk she had left for Violet's sisters.

Hence, Violet, who weighed just a pound at birth and is by far the smallest of the kids, has taken up temporary residence with Kellie Myers, one of the sanctuary's health care coordinators. Myers bottle feeds the tiny animal every two hours, according to Thomas Negron, a member of the sanctuary, Daily Freeman News reported.

Despite her circumstance, Violet fitted on a striped tee and enjoyed her first trip in the outside world. She even had the strength to climb up a rock all on her own, Huffington Post reported.

It might be her first day out, but she showed great bravery in exploring the unknown and quickly exhibited a love and appreciation for the world. Hopefully, Violet will grow to be as strong as her spirits are, and be able to take on greater adventures when she grows old enough, according to The Dodo.
