Matthew McConaughey Still Plays The Drums Naked At Home

Matthew McConaughey, one of GQ's Men of The Year, revealed he still plays the drums naked even after being arrested in 1999 for dancing naked in his yard while playing the congas.

Matthew McConaughey may have a "bad reputation" but he's definitely a charmer. The actor was named GQ's Leading Man of The Year and fronts the December issue of the magazine. In an interview, he revealed some well kept secrets, the first one being his naked drum playing.

"Of course I still play the congas naked," the married father of three said to GQ. "I just close the windows."

McConaughey was arrested in 1999 in his Austin, Texas home for "disturbing the peace" by dancing around his yard naked while he played the drums. The actor also revealed to the magazine that he collects sayings from the Internet on his laptop.

"I got 821 of them...Aphorisms, bumper stickers, truths, and rhymes," he said including self-written raps. Some saying from his collection include "Rollin' through yellow lights on my skateboard" and "Kiss the fire and walk away whistling."

He also told the magazine that he was a fan of the word "selfish."

"I'm a fan of the word selfish. Self. Ish. When I say I have gotten a lot more self-ish, I mean I am less concerned with what people think of me. I'm not worried about how I'm perceived. Selfish has always gotten a bad rap. You should do for you. I wanted new experiences," he told GQ.

The "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days" actor is currently married to Brazilian model Camila Alves. The couple welcomed a baby boy Livingston in late December last year.
