Last week’s episode of Revenge showed there are some changes coming on Team Emily.

In a recent interview  with TVLine’s editor-in-chief and founder Michael Ausiello, showrunner Sunil Nayar hints that Team Emily won’t be the only ones switching things up.

“Emily’s quest for vengeance will always be alive, but there’s going to be a major shift — not only in her approach to it, but in other people’s approaches to her,” Nayar tells Ausiello. “Suffice it to say, gloves are coming off and everyone’s getting into the ring.”

At the end of Sunday’s episode Emily shared her exit plan to both Nolan and Jack. The Plan—to frame Victoria for her murder.

Fans have definitely seen a new Emily this season. While she has continued her plan to take down the Graysons she has been forced to make some changes to her methods. Jack forced her to hurry her plan by giving it an end of the summer deadline. Father Paul forced to realize the fact people can change.

This new Emily may be contributing to the better season ABC’s entertainment president Paul Lee earlier this year.

"I think we stumbled a little bit in the second season, but Mike [Kelley] is one of the great show runners," Lee said at a Television Critics Association panel recently in August according to MSN Entertainment. "What Sunil is bringing to us is a slightly less complicated and a really interesting take. The first episode back -- I don't know how much we can reveal. We're not allowed to reveal anything -- is a fantastic episode starting with a magnificent hook. I do think you are going to see that one enjoying itself in its third season. And we certainly are."
