Best Buy Accepting Pre-Orders for Nexus 5, Get It for $149.99 with a Sprint 2-Year Contract

Customers who would like to own the latest LG Nexus 5 may go to Best Buy which is now accepting pre-orders for $149.99 with a two-year contract with Sprint.

As per previous announcements and leaked reports, Nexus 5 will be released side by side with Google's latest Android operating system Kitkat (Android 4.4) on October, however, due to unknown circumstances, the original target release date has been postponed.

Those who have placed their orders of the new smartphone from the Google Play Store will have to hang around for another two to four weeks.

Conversely, there is another option and that is if you are willing to subscribe to the big yellow network Sprint.

Best Buy is now accepting pre-orders of the new 16GB Nexus 5 smartphone on its website. It also said there that the release date is on November 8.

The price of the smartphone depends on what is preferred. The customer can pre-order the Nexus 5 from Best Buy and Sprint. One can get it for only $149.99 by signing up a two-year contract with Sprint and $449.99 without any contract. Another important thing to note is, if you are pre-ordering from Sprint, you will have to send in a $50 mail-in rebate to reach the $149.99 price point.

Cash payment is not the only option for Nexus 5 fanatics. If they opted to buy at Best Buy, they can use their credit cards. Just punch in the card details and hit the pre-order button.

Additionally, Best Buy and Sprint’s non-contract pricing for the LG Nexus 5 smartphone is a $100 higher than the one offered in Google Play Store. Nonetheless, if your hands are really itching to get hold of the Nexus 5 and is craving for some Kitkat, Best Buy’s offer is absolutely your thing since there is no specific date when Google Play Store will release the smartphone.
