The Chicago Bulls sit at 1-1 after the first two games of the season. However, even with a few threes tonight and a nice game winner from Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls fans may still be worrying.

But I’m here to tell you Bulls fans—Be patient, it’s coming.

Rose has looked really shaky the first two games. He’s not getting to rim like he was in the preseason. His three’s are not finding the bottom of the net. He’s turning over the ball at a fairly disturbing rate.

It seems the preseason gave Rose a false sense of security. Teams weren’t playing their hardest and he was able to dominate like the D-Rose of old. However, now that it’s the regular season and things are much faster, the former MVP seems befuddled. What if I told you that his befuddlement is a good thing?

As a Bulls fan you should be worried if Rose’s confusion was coming from his knee. Although he’s struggling he is still moving quickly and playing hard. The fact his befuddlement is coming from rustiness and an unfamiliarity with his team means things can be fixed. Rose will loosen up and he will get on the same page as his teammates, eventually. Rose didn’t completely forget how to play his game. He just needs something to jog his memory.

The game winning shot that came off two dribbles leading to a vintage Derrick Rose floater—may be just do the trick.

The Bulls play there next game on Saturday at the Philadelphia 76ers at 7:30 p.m. Watch the game winner here.
