Last night’s episode of “Arrow” finally gave fans something (or things) they’ve wanted all season.
There have been a multitude of fight scenes on this show but I think watching the Arrow and the Black Canary take down the Mayor’s “constituents” (see what I did there) was probably the best one yet.
Am I the only one who cracked a smile when Oliver took out some criminals with the Canary’s staff only to have her subsequently save his life with his own bow?
The chemistry between Oliver and Sara while they were unmasked was very good. It wasn’t unrealistic by having them make-out or anything of the sort when they first saw each other. There was the right amount of emotion and the dialogue between the two characters throughout the entire episode.
In a recent interview with TVLine, Emily Bett Rickards (who plays Felicity) says her character has gotten more comfortable with Oliver and is able to challenge him on things. It was nice to see Felicity challenge Oliver on why he lied about Sara’s fate on the Queen’s Gambit.
The end of the episode set the season up nicely going forward. Judging from the final hospital scene it seems Sara is open to revealing herself to the rest of the Lance family. Hopefully, this reveal keeps Laurel from heading further down the path she’s on.
The final scene was probably a big moment for D.C. comic fans everywhere as Sebastian the Alderman made his debut as Brother Blood. Are you excited to see him take on the Arrow?
The second to last scene revealed how Oliver knew Sara didn’t die on his father’s boat. Although they seem to be friends now that they’re back in Starling City, she didn’t appear too happy to see him on the huge ship.
