Amazon Prime's dystopian alternate history television series "The Man in the High Castle" becomes the streaming service's most-watched original series just days after the show was renewed for a second 10-episode season.

The series, which premiered on Nov. 20, beat detective series "Bosch" to claim the title, however Amazon has not revealed any numbers.

"The Man in the High Castle" features Alexa Davalos, Rupert Evans and Luke Kleintank, Rufus Sewell and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and is based on Philip K. Dick's novel of the same name, which is set in an alternative post-World War II United States ruled by Nazi Germany and Japan, according to Deadline.

Frank Spotnitz developed and produced the Amazon original along with Ridley Scott, David Zucker and Dick's daughter, Isa Dick-Hackett.

"We're very proud of this outstanding series created by Frank Spotnitz, Scott Free and Isa Dick Hackett, which Amazon customers around the world have enthusiastically embraced, and we look forward to the second season," said Amazon Studios Vice President Roy Price, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
