This year's new breed of designers include some standouts that are pegged to become fashion's toast in 2016. If you're on the lookout for hip and trendy designs in wearable fashion, take note of these new names.

s.k. manor hill

This New York menswear label takes inspiration from Japanese fashion, judging by its spring/summer 2016 collection. Aside from the relaxed, no-nonsense cuts and style, the brand's latest pieces come in neutral and versatile palettes that make Japanese menswear so sleek. The fabrics s.k. manor hill uses are also from Japan, according to High Snobiety.

Max Gengos

This brand makes use of "artisanal fabric," meaning it can be quite expensive, but the clothes are very durable, according to Elle. For those who love stylish clothes, but also want investment pieces, keep this designer in mind.

Self-Portrait

One of the newest designers to be introduced on Net-A-Porter this year, Self-Portrait presents feminine dresses with a fresh and current take. Designer Han Chong's creations are perfect for parties and events.

Monse

Despite its small start, Monse's client base already includes Amal Clooney and Sarah Jessica Parker. The fashion label is from Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, who both trained under Oscar de la Renta, according to Vogue. Monse's style is labeled as "relaxed glamour," and its wearable garments look youthful but sophisticated.

69

The denim label prides itself with "genderless clothes" and encourages its wearers to be playful with their pieces, according to Refinery 29. Indeed, many of the clothes at 69 are shapeless, relaxed and can work for both men and women. It's perfect for weekend romps and holiday getaways.
