It's no secret that One Direction member Niall Horan is head over heels in love with Katy Perry. The 20-year-old asked Perry to marry him over Twitter.
Relax John Mayer! We all know it's just a joke and singer Katy Perry will take no other to be her lawful wedded husband. But like they say, "there's no harm in trying." And that's exactly what One Direction member Niall Horan did.
The young star took to his Twitter account to express his love for Perry and asked her to marry him.
"I love you @katyperry! Thank you! Ps. Will u marry me?" Horan joked.
While this tweet may have broken a million hearts, fans couldn't help but gush at Horan's cute gesture. Many girls commented saying if Perry didn't agree, they'd be more than happy to marry him.
Ever since Horan met Perry in the 2010 season of "X Factor", the two have shared a very good rapport. The kiss the duo shared at last year's MTV VMA awards remained the talk of tinsel town for quite some time.
Sadly Horan, you may have to wait another lifetime to make Perry yours. As of now, Perry and Mayer are only a step away from walking down the aisle. It's only a matter of time that Mayer pops the question. The duo was recently spotted enjoying a quiet, romantic dinner in London.
Perry released her latest album "Prism" on October 18 and has already received some rave reviews and soared to the top of the iTunes Chart across the globe.
