The Miss International 2015 beauty pageant took place at the Grand Prince Hotel in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday and Miss Venezuela Edymar Martinez was crowned the winner of the competition, which had representatives from 70 countries and regions participating, according to the Daily Mail.
"What I'm feeling is the best feeling ever. Venezuela, we did it!" Martinez said, sharing her happiness, according to The Reporter Times.
Miss International 2014, Valerie Hernandez from Puerto Rico, passed the crown to the contest's winner. There was stiff competition, especially in the national costume round, with women donning outfits inspired by their home country, including Miss India's Taj Mahal-inspired outfit and Miss USA's skin-tight astronaut catsuit.
Miss USA's Lindsay Becker wore a skintight white and silver catsuit with a NASA badge in knee-high PVC boots and an astronaut helmet. She also had a cardboard spaceship on as a backpack, which had firing jets, the American flag and a moon, which created an ethereal halo above Becker's head.

3rd Runner-Up - Miss Vietnam
4th Runner-Up - Miss USA

Miss International 2015 was the 55th edition of the Miss International beauty pageant, which "aims to promote love, peace and excitement to the world," according to Zeibiz.
