Once Upon a Time in Wonderland didn’t get off to a fast start with about 5.1 million viewers and a demo rating of 1.7, according to TVGuide.com. However, it still has a good storyline and deserves a look. It definitely left us with some questions following the series premiere. Here are a few:
No. 1—What is Jafar’s plan for Cyrus?
For those of you who don’t remember, in the Disney movie Jafar goes from a warlock with a scepter to a powerful genie monster. It seems he could have the same motives in the “Once Upon a Time” spinoff since he’s captured Cyrus. I almost want to see him succeed just so we viewers can witness the portrayal of Jafar as a powerful genie. The show did an excellent job with Cheshire Cat so I’m anxious to see them potray Jafar as an evil genie.
No. 2—Will there be anything between the Knave of Hearts and Alice?
I know Alice belongs to Cyrus but could there be something between Alice and her traveling companion?
No. 3—What will happen when the White Rabbit gets caught?
We hope that eventually the White Rabbit will be revealed as a traitor. If it turns out he has kept Alice from finding her true love, she might do more to him than just stuffing him in a burlap sack.
No. 4—Don’t genies have powers?
I’m guessing that if Cyrus had powers it would probably hurt the story line but is anyone else wondering why he didn’t use magic to save himself from the knights or form falling off the cliff? Is it possible that they were stripped from him at some point in the past? I will admit, a genie without powers is sort of weird.
