Just days after the release of her fifth studio album, "Bangerz," a huge musical departure from her earlier works and "Hannah Montana" days, Miley Cyrus is already debating over two songs in particular for her next single.

According to MTV News, Cyrus is especially pushing for her new duet with Britney Spears. When asked which songs she'd like for her third single, Cyrus replied, "I hope 'SMS (Bangerz)' with Britney. That would be awesome. But also, 'Adore You' is in the top 10 right now of iTunes, which I didn't really expect, so that's really cool too."

"Adore You" is the opening track to "Bangerz," starting off the album on a sweet, emotional note with Rihanna-inspired vocals. Critics have noted that Rihanna's influence shines throughout the album, as in fact, Cyrus's hit "We Can't Stop" was originally offered to Rih, though Cyrus infuses her own bizarre mash-up of country twang with EDM beats and country hip-hop, alongside tender ballads with raw vocals.

"SMS (Bangerz)" co-writer, Sean Garrett, recently revealed to MTV News that the collaboration nearly didn't make the album, which features other artists from Big Sean, French Montana and Future, to Ludacris on the deluxe version. Originally, two other pop divas were considered for the upbeat, catchy track.

"The first name that we tossed around was Gwen Stefani," Garrett said. "We were talking about Gwen because you know Gwen got that edge too, but that's how God works. We were throwing around those ideas. Nicki [Minaj], we were talking about putting Nicki on there too. That would've been nuts too, but I think that's how God works, this was absolutely the right one."

"[The song] is like five different things," he added. "It's hip-hop, it's the girls, it's a female anthem, Salt-n-Pepa, Britney and Miley."

"Bangerz" is expected to top the Billboard 200 charts this week with predicted sales of around 250,000 copies, more than twice the opening amount of Cyrus's last album, "Can't Be Tamed." It's placing will be revealed on Oct. 16.

Whichever single she chooses next, it's likely to be a hit, as her previous songs "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" were both iTunes and Billboard chart successes.
