Now that she and Prince William have settled into their luxurious Kensington Palace residence, Apartment 1-A, Kate Middleton is ready to begin her post-baby royal duties, including a newly announced benefit gala for 100 Women in Hedge Funds, E! News reports.

On Oct. 24, the Duchess will make a solo appearance at the gala, one of her first public appearances after giving birth to 10-week-old Prince George.

100 Women in Hedge Funds is a nonprofit organization for professionals in the investments industry that "raises funds for women's and family health, mentoring and education programs," according to E! News, and the gala will be held very close to the royal family in the Kensington Palace State Apartments.

The evening's event will raise money to benefit Action on Addiction, a charity that works in the field of addiction to provide support, research, treatment, educational, health and and prevention programs for addicts and affected families.

The Duke of Cambridge became a patron of 100 Women in Hedge Funds back in 2009, though for the latest event, he is not scheduled to appear alongside his wife.

Other upcoming appearances for Middleton include a SportsAid event on Oct. 8, where she will take place in a training workshop for young athletes, Prince George's Christening on Oct. 23, where around 60 special guests will be in attendance as per tradition, and a rumored appearance at an Irish Guards medals parade on Dec. 6 that serving soldiers have been eagerly tweeting about, though the palace has yet to confirm this engagement.

Fans of the Duchess can expect to see more of her elegant and sophisticated style on display. At the Tusk Conservation Awards Gala last month, Middleton dazzled in a sparkling, silver Jenny Packham gown, showing off her svelte post-baby body. However, Kate Middleton has always appeared comfortable with her post-baby figure, not attempting to hide her belly after giving birth. Many have called her an inspiration to pregnant women and new mothers around the world.
