Cleveland Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins is likely to miss this weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals, due to a concussion, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

The Browns top slot receiver suffered the concussion when tackling Nick Fairley during a fumble return against the St. Louis Rams. Hawkins is a big part of Cleveland's offense, as he already has 20 receptions for 207 yards this season.

Without Hawkins on the field this weekend, the Browns may look to former star wide receiver Dwayne Bowe. The former Kansas City wide out signed a huge deal with the Browns this offseason, which included $9 million guaranteed.

"We are going to need Dwayne at some point," said offensive coordinator John DeFilippo, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Bowe has been a healthy save for the past three games for the Browns, and if not for his contract, Cleveland would have likely already let him go. At one point Bowe was arguably one of the ten best wide receivers in the league, and in 2010 with the Chiefs he recorded 72 catches for 1,162 yards and scored 15 touchdowns. While the Browns won't expect that sort of production out of the nine-year veteran, he could surprise people and have an impact this Sunday.

The Browns are 2-5 on the season, and losing a player like Hawkins against one of the best coverage teams in the NFL in Arizona is a big blow. The Browns will look to Bowe to step up in Hawkins absence, but it remains to be seen if the former star receiver can still have an impact.
