Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant reportedly felt some discomfort in his foot last week, and the team will make sure the bone is completely healed before he returns, according to NFL Insider Jay Glazer.

Dez Bryant was ruled out against the Giants on Saturday but reportedly paid his own way and flew commercial to be with his teammates against the Giants in a crucial NFC East matchup.

Bryant has been out since he injured his foot against the Giants in week one. Bryant needed a bone graft during surgery, and many reported that the Cowboys receiver could be out longer than originally expected.

It looks like that will be the case, as there doesn't seem to be any clear timetable for Bryant's return. The Cowboys reportedly believe that Bryant will be back by week nine against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Bryant reportedly has a 50 percent chance to play next week, according to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo.

The Cowboys are looking to stop a three game losing streak against the Giants Sunday and could prove to be difficult without quarterback Tony Romo and Bryant. The Cowboys receiver is one of the best in the league and last season recorded 88 receptions for 1,320 yards with 16 touchdowns.

The Cowboys plan to have Bryant back by week nine and will likely need him as the NFC East looks to be a closely fought race this season.
