Following his overdose and hospitalization, Lamar Odom is facing millions of dollars in medical bills, at least six months of rehab treatment - and now he could face some criminal charges.

Blood tests results showed that Odom tested positive for cocaine, which was assumed, but not officially known until Monday, as HNGN previously reported. When word about the former NBA star possibly using cocaine started going around, officials revealed that there was a chance of him being prosecuted for drug possession, and now the Nye County Sheriff is recommending that this happens, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources said that the Sheriff's department has sent his blood tests to the district attorney, who has the option of prosecuting Odom for felony drug use.

Even if he is faced with the felony charge, there's a good chance that he probably won't face any jail time since he is a first-time offender. The brothel, where Odom was first found unconscious on Oct. 13, is also currently under investigation as it seems management might have pushed two hookers with bad drug reputations on him.

Odom has been in the hospital since he was found, and they've had to have tight security to keep visitors that aren't family out, as he is still working towards recovery. On Monday night, someone who claimed he was Odom's assistant tried to get into Odom's room, claiming that Odom had called him to come see him, according to TMZ. Once this man got on Odom's floor, hospital officials felt something wasn't right and stopped him from going into his room.

Apparently, the man had a history with Odom, and it is believed that he is one of the people that encouraged Odom's drug use when they lived together in Las Vegas. When Odom went to the hospital, his management fired the man for facilitating his drug use. Security had denied him access, and this caused a lot of yelling and a "big scene." It just so happens that he tried to visit during one of the very rare times that Odom's wife Khloé Kardashian was not at the hospital.
