In this new promo posted on the “Arrow” Facebook page, fans of Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rikards) get a pretty nice moment at the end of the video. However, fans of Oliver and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) might be a little worried since Laurel says she made a “mistake” by sleeping with Oliver.
To make matters worse, that might not be the only problem they have.
In a promo given exclusively to TVGuide.com, Laurel and Oliver are standing near what might be Tommy’s (Colin Donnell) gravestone while they hold hands. It’s a very romantic scene until Laurel says:
There’s only one archer left—and I’m going to help my boss catch him.
Yes, Laurel is now Oliver’s new enemy. Things are always much more fun in a relationship when one person is trying to put the other one in jail.
Laurel’s desire to catch the archer might be attributed to her continuing grief for the loss of Tommy. Katie Cassidy recently said her character won’t be the same this season because of the devastating loss.
"She has definitely grieved a bit and tried to deal with the death of Tommy and the Glades being destroyed, and I feel she has mainly focused her energy on working to distract herself so she does not have to deal with it. She definitely goes into a darker place," Cassidy told EOnline. "You see her doing stuff that you would never imagine or think she would do, but it's credited because Tommy passed."
Season 2 of “Arrow” premieres Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c on The CW.
