Last night, First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" to promote her latest campaign and discussed her plans for when it was time to move out of the White House.

During her interview, the First Lady told Colbert that she was most looking forward to doing completely normal things when she had to leave the place she called her home for the past eight years.

"I want to do things like open a window," the First Lady joked. "I want to go to Target, I want to drive!"

She said that one day as "a treat" she actually got to open a car window.

"My lead agent let me have the windows open on the way to Camp David," Obama said. "It was like five minutes out and he was like 'the window's open. Enjoy it!' I was like, 'thanks Allen.'"

The First Lady also discussed what she wanted to get done before she left the White House.

"Having some movement on girls' education," She told Colbert. "This is the kind of work that Barack and I want to do after we leave the White House."

Obama was just the most recent political figure to appear on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." Previous guests included Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, Vice President Joe Biden and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
