Gigi Hadid is quickly taking over the fashion industry and is one of the most talked-about models at the moment, but Internet bullies are somehow still finding negative things to say about her somewhat curvy, yet flawless, figure.

The 20-year-old model took to Instagram to respond to the many people who apparently have been criticizing her body. In the lengthy open letter, she explains how she's been receiving many negative opinions over the past month from people who "have no idea what they're talking about." But she is human and, naturally, she says she "did let the negativity get to me a little."

Hadid understands that her body may be a little different than the stick-thin models we're used to seeing, but that doesn't mean she's in the wrong, and that doesn't mean she doesn't work hard and give it her all. "I represent a body image that wasn't accepted in high-fashion before," she continued to explain. "And I'm very lucky to be supported by the designers, stylists, and editors that I am: ones that know this is fashion, it's art; it can never stay the same. It's 2015. But if you're not one of those people, don't take your anger out on me. Yes, I have boobs, I have abs, I have a butt, I have thighs, but I'm not asking for special treatment."

She continued to explain how she fits perfectly into sample sizes, and as long as designers keep wanting her in their shows, she's going to continue on with her job. "That's just how it is and how it will be. If you don't like it, don't follow me, don't watch me, cause I'm not going anywhere," she said. "If I didn't have the body I do, I wouldn't have the career I do. I love that I can be sexy. I'm proud of it."

Hadid recently stunned on the runway during New York Fashion Week for major designers like Diane von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger and Anna Sui, but people still doubted her, according to Cosmopolitan. She understands that her body may be a little different than what we're used to in high-fashion, but she believes she is the change the fashion world needs to see, and the change it has learned to accept, so everyone else should learn to accept it, too.

"I hope everyone gets to a place in their life where they'd rather talk about the things that inspire them over the things that bring others down," she finally said in her post. "At least be open if not part of the change, because it's undeniably happening."
