Cristiano Ronaldo is thinking about a return to Manchester United, according to the Daily Mirror. The latest Manchester United transfer rumor comes after a summer filled with disappointment and failed signings. Ronaldo has already seen rumors from France, England and the United States about a possible transfer location next summer.

Ronaldo has continued to be rumored as unsettled and ready to move away from Real Madrid. Next summer there is no doubt that United and Paris Saint-Germain will target the 31-year old attacker. Madrid fans do not want their top scorer to leave, however, it is coming to that time in Ronaldo's career where a move away is in the cards.

No soccer follower can question how talented and dynamic Ronaldo is. With a move like losing Ronaldo, Madrid could turn its massive payday into a great way to rebuild and add multiple core players instead of putting all of its eggs into one CR7 basket.

The payout for Ronaldo leaving early is substantial, yet United and PSG can afford his $140 million contract that Madrid will demand, according to NBC Sports. No other club has put its hat in the ring for Ronaldo, while no other team has the same capital that the Red Devils and PSG hold. Unless Ronaldo suffers a terrible injury, there is a great chance that he will look for an exit from the Madrid and head back to United or to PSG.
