Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) will expand its strategic management program- HRG Meetings ManagerTM powered by ACTIVE Network | StarCite®, across the HRG global network, according to ACTIVE Network press release.
Hogg Robinson Group, an international corporation company and The ACTIVE Network, Inc. has announced a preferred partnership with each other. The terms of the partnership state that HRG Meetings ManagerTM, which is powered by ACTIVE Network will be used to allow global sourcing of meeting venues and other meeting-related services to minimize cost.
"Just as we've seen corporations make a priority of automating their sales and human resource departments, Active Network believes that SMM [strategic meetings management] is another level of global corporate spend that needs to be automated in order to help ensure the financial health of a company," JR Sherman, senior vice president of business solutions, Active Network, said in a statement. HRG Meetings ManagerTM has been successfully used by several users in the European markets in order to source meeting venues and to control meeting expenses. The new preferred partnership will oversee sourcing and spending across several markets in the HRG global network including Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
