Rockstar Games' released the latest installment of its highly successful "Grand Theft Auto" franchise on Tuesday. The new game gives users the ability to run free around the fictional city of Los Santos, a parody of Los Angeles. Not only can you play golf and tennis, but gamers can do the usual Grand Theft Auto style mayhem rampages that include piloting a helicopter to the top of a mountain only to joyride back down on a dirt bike, hitting animals and hikers as you go.
The game boasts a campaign of several hours but many probably don't want to wait to experience some of the game's crazier features, the people at IGN have you covered. As any Grand Theft Auto fan knows, each game comes complete with a whole lineup of cheat codes to spawn almost every cool vehicle, weapon and accessory in the game.
Below are a few of the more useful GTA V cheat codes courtesy of IGN. Remember, all cheat codes must be entered on the controller's D-pad, using the analog controls will not work. Keep in mind that the codes must be entered very quickly and, if done correctly should prompt a confirmation notification above the minimap. Once cheat cods are enabled, Achievements and Trophies in the game become disabled. To reactivate them simply exit out of your current game session and log back in.
