Justin Bieber gave fans something to get into a  frenzy  when he shared a presumably phony script of a "Batman Vs Superman" movie on Instagram

Fans were just about getting used to the fact that Ben Affleck will play the role of  Batman in the upcoming movie sequel when singer Justin Bieber created a scare and quite a few laughs with his latest Instagram post.

The teenage heartthrob shared a picture of a phony "Batman Vs Superman" script written by David S. Goyer and Zack Snyder. The cover page features a "Bieber" watermark, as if the script was meant specifically for him. He captioned the pic "Robin??" leading fans to believe he may be auditioning for Robin's role.

Bieber's photo was liked more than 346,000 times in just four hours after being posted and has now received 33,800 comments. The current likes for the picture stand at 598,000 (at the time of writing).

The comic "Batman Vs Superman" features an epic battle between Batman and Superman and during the Comic-Con announcement of the project, "Man of Steel",  actor Harry Lennix read a passage from the issue in which Batman revels in his defeat of Superman.

"I want you to remember, Clark," Lennix  read  "in all the years to come. In all your private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you."

Warner Bros' still untitled sequel to Man of Steel starring Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman, hits theaters July 17, 2015.
