New York Yankees Vs. Baltimore Orioles Live Stream: Race For AL's 2nd Wild-Card Spot Continues (WATCH)

The New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles face each other on Thursday for the final time this year. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.

New York moved a half game ahead of Baltimore on Wednesday with a 5-4 win. With both teams vying for the AL's second wild-card spot, a win on Thursday is crucial. The Yankees are now trailing just one game behind Tampa Bay for the AL's second wild card, according to the Associated Press.

Despite dropping the last two games against New York, Orioles manager Buck Showalter is confident his team can bounce back.

"Tonight was a tough night for us, like last night, but these guys will turn the page and compete their rears off (Thursday)," Showalter told Associated Press reporters. "Anybody that would want to close the door on us would be making a mistake."

Baltimore hopes to rally on Thursday behind pitcher Wei-Yin Chen, who's 7-7 with a 3.82 ERA for the season. Chen hasn't fared particularly well against the Yankees and will hope to improve upon a 0-1 record with a 5.40 ERA in his two outings this season against the Yankees.

Chen last played on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox, where he earned a No Decision.

Starting opposite of Chen for New York is Phil Hughes (4-13, 5.11 ERA). Thursday marks Hughes' return to the Yankees' pitching rotation, where the right-hander hopes to improve from his 13 losses. In his last 10 starts, Hughes is 0-6 with a 5.48 ERA.

"I'm not really worried about redemption or proving anybody wrong or stuff like that," Hughes told the team website, via the Associated Press. "I'm just trying to throw as many quality innings as I can."
