After missing his pet for over a month, Jeremy Renner has finally been reunited with his French bulldog, Hemi, after using social media to spark a massive search for the missing pooch, the Daily Mail reports.

On July 19, a power outage in Hollywood, Calif. caused Renner's front gates to open, allowing the little dog to make his escape. Desperate to find his beloved pet, who needs special medication for his hips, Renner created a Facebook page urging neighbors to keep an eye out for a missing tan and black French bulldog, offering a $5,000 reward.

On Thursday, Renner's rep confirmed to E! News that Renner was reunited with his pet after receiving a call from a woman who found the dog a whopping 189 miles away from home in in Visalia, Calif.

"Hemi is back home. He was found yesterday...in Visalia," the rep told E! News. "Jeremy is so happy to have his dog back home."

Renner took to Facebook to thank all of his fans and supporters for contributing to the search for Hemi.

"Thank you so much to all of our wonderful fans and followers. Your tireless work, support, faith, and positive messages helped to bring Hemi home," he wrote. "Because of everyone here - and because of everyone YOU shared with - Hemi is safe and sound, and we are all totally elated. We could NOT have done this without you, and for that, you will have our gratitude forever. We are touched by the generosity and love you all have shown to a dog you don't even know."

While it is unclear of how or why Hemi traveled so far, Hemi is reportedly in "good health" following his journey, currently at home recovering after a check-up from the vet. To ensure that he never goes missing again, Renner has also invested in a new collar, ID tags and a fancy GPS tracker for his beloved pet.
