He was convicted of domestic battery last month and sentenced to three years probation and server 35 days in jail for the beating. Kelly filed for divorce in July.

After the incident , Kelly's boyfriend brought her to rehab on Monday only for the actress to go into cardiac arrest and die late Wednesday night. Kelly was arrested four times over the past three years for various charges including DUI, spousal abuse and assault.

First responders reported to TMZ the actress had needle marks in her arm but her boyfriend explained that she had been taken to the hospital on Sunday with a blood alcohol level of .34. The nurses reportedly had a difficult time finding a vein to draw blood from, hence the numerous needle marks.
