White Collar Season 6 Update: Air Date and Season Spoilers

The sixth and final episode on "White Collar" will air November 6, 2014. Here are a few spoilers from the upcoming season.

November 6, 2014 will mark the beginning of the end for Neal Caffery, Peter Burke and the whole of the "White Collar" cast and crew. Initial feelers have it that the upcoming season of the show will be filled with many surprising twists and also some of the antagonists of the previous five seasons will return.

The Wrap has posted a teaser video of the upcoming season. This clip comprises of old scenes and new scenes. "Neal cut his anklet. He is gone," Peter is seen saying to Mozzie in this video. The clip ends with Mozzie saying to Neal, "What do you say about one last con."

In an interview with Forbes, Jeff Eastin said that the final six episodes of "White collar" are "much less of the criminal of the week ... much more about really digging into who Neil is, what he wants, and the relationship between him, Peter, and Mozzie. So that becomes the real thrust of this year."

Though Matt Bomer has been a part of many prestigious projects, he's best known to many as the sexy, witty Neal Caffery of White Collar. The actor also seems proud to be known by his character. As he walked the Red Carpet during the recent Emmy Awards ceremony, he was asked how emotional it was getting through those final episodes with his cast and crew.

"It was cathartic, because we really do like each other ... It was hard to say goodbye ... Now we have to take the love we had on that job and take it to whatever is next," he said, according to media reports.

Bomer added that he and the writers and producers "tried to give [the fans] something that would be in traditional 'White Collar' form," which means a number of twists and surprises every step of the way. Given that the final season is only going to be around six or so episodes, we imagine that this was even more of a challenge for them to try and meet than usual.

In an interview with TVLine, Bomer, who plays the role of Neal Caffrey, stated his feelings on the show's final run.

"There's this undercurrent of I don't want to say sadness, but... What's the French word...? We're all having a blast working together. It's just like old times like it's always been, but underneath it all, we all know that we're going to have to say goodbye. We're all dreading that moment because we have been such a close-knit unit for six years. So it'll be sad to say goodbye. All good things must come to an end!" he said.
