Apple Inc. officially unveiled their new iPhone 5S, becoming the first 64-bit smartphone device available on the market come Sept. 20.

"The PC world made the transition from 32 bit to 64 bit and it took years. Today you're going to see that Apple is going to do it on one day," Phil Schiller, Apple's marketing chief, told the press crowd during Tuesday's tech unveiling.

A 64-bit smartphone is impressive for those who are interesting in gaming, specifically playing Infinity Blade III.

Yes, Epic Games were at the Apple announcement, and gave a quick demo of the PC quality gaming on the new iPhone 5S.  However, not many understand why a 64-bit smartphone is impressive and the importance of Infinity Blade III.

Forbes hit the nail on the head with their report:

"Now, games like Infinity Blade are more important than ever for the iPhone, for one specific reason. This is when Apple finally split the line in two by releasing the iPhone 5C, a budget version of the main iPhone with less processing power and a plastic case. So why would the average human need the processing power associated with a top-of-the-line iPhone? Not for making phone calls, checking email or using the maps application of their choice. Apple of all companies knows the power of pretty things, and so it only makes sense to use one of the best-looking games (and thus, best-looking apps) on mobile devices to showcase the new processor."

IPhone users wanted the next big thing to come out of the Apple Announcement 2013, and here it is.  Without a better processor, you won't see any improvements to the smartphone.  Physically, the iPhone products may not have changed much over the years, but internally Apple users will be in for quite the surprise.

The iPhone 5S will 16GB for $199, 32GB for $299 and 64B for $399 on-contract, and will be released on Sept. 20.  For specs of the iPhone 5S, click here. You can also check out the iPhone 5C features, here.
