Chris Evans is an adventurous person however his recent risk didn't pay off. While on Jimmy Kimmel the actor unveiled the trailer of his 'Oscar worthy' biopic that unfortunately was a tad bit cringeworthy, to say the least.

According to E! News, Chris Evans appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his upcoming movie "Gifted." However, the actor surprised everyone around him, especially one audience member, by announcing his new movie, Dennis.

"I think what I'm really looking for is one of those gritty, Oscar-caliber biopics, where you really kind of lose yourself in a character. I mean, it's tough, because all the best personalities have had movies made about them. In my opinion, I think what you've got to do is go out and find the person yourself. And that's exactly what I did," Chris Evans continued his act of seriousness. "I found him."

The actor then pointed out a guy in the pink shirt in the audience and exclaimed that he is playing him, whose name is Dennis Baker. Chris Evans stated that he has been following Dennis for six weeks now.

Chris Evans clarified that it is not stalking, more like researching for cinema. The actor directed at a rather terrified Dennis that now he knows everything about him.

Chris Evans then shared the trailer, a 'movie' directed and starred in by the actor himself, in which the title character is shown living a pathetic life. Dennis is seen unloved by everyone including himself and eats his burger out of a toilet when it accidently falls into it.

The real Dennis Baker was not at all amused unsurprisingly accused the actor of portraying him a 'booger'. However, both Jimmy Kimmel and Chris Evans did not agree with him and stated that he should be grateful and unselfish for his story is being told in such a magnificent manner. Being outnumbered, poor Dennis Baker timidly agreed.

Speaking about movies, Chris Evans recently admitted that he is finally retiring from his role as the Marvel superhero Captain America. According to HNGN, the actor revealed the information during his interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Chris Evans added that he will be working on "Avengers: Infinity War" Part 1 and 2 as Captain America and that will be it. The actor said he it will be tough for him to not play the iconic character anymore but his contract has come to an end.
