Bad news for Blac Chyna. The reality TV star's request to trademark the name Angela Renée Kardashian has been denied.

According to TMZ, Blac Chyna, who was born Angela Renée White, wanted to change her name legally to Angela Renée Kardashian. She wanted her future ventures to be trademarked under her new name.

The 28-year-old Lashed Bar owner first attempted last year when she was expecting her daughter with fiancé Rob Kardashian. However, Rob's family including his sisters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian filed papers against the trademarking attempt.

Thinking about the brand, the Kardashian sisters stated that their companies would suffer if Blac Chyna uses the surname for her future endeavors. On the other hand, Chyna's mother Tokyo Toni supported her daughter's attempt to use the Kardashian name.

As per Us Weekly, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian took the social media by storm following a series of snapchats where the couple was seen getting cozy was posted. The pair announced back in February that they have decided to split up and now rumors are rife that they are back together again.

Following their February split Blac Chyna told Cosmopolitan South Africa that she and Rob are having therapy to mend their differences. She stated that everyone who is in a relationship has their ups and downs and she is in it for the long haul.

"I feel like everything isn't going to be perfect, but I know we love each other and we're fighting for each other, and the people we surround ourselves with are rooting for us," Cosmopolitan quoted Blac Chyna. "It makes everything much easier."

In the Snapchat posts the pair was hugging each other and in one of them, the Kardashian son even kissed Blac Chyna. They also dedicated one post to their four months old daughter, Dream Kardashian, by captioning it "Dreams Daddy".
