As NBA preseason games are ongoing and the NBA new season is set to be underway in a couple of weeks from now, rumors around the league aren't set to stop circling around just yet. Rumors of trade deals or player swaps continue to spread, even though they don't have any confirmation and end up not materializing.

However, a rumor is now quietly surfacing and gaining in steam. No, it's not a trade deal for the upcoming season - It's a rumor that will likely happen in the future and it involves one of the greatest players nowadays. No other than the King, LeBron James.

According to iSportsTimes.com, there are rumors saying that Cavs superstar LeBron James will go to the Los Angeles Lakers in the near future. Speculations are saying that after "King James" led the Cavaliers to their first championship last season, it seems that he is leaving Cleveland again. It is also stated that by the year 2018, the Lakers will have an estimated $17 to $45 million cap space that will enable them to land James.

Also says that the smoke of a "supposed" transfer also came when James bought a house in Los Angeles in November last year, heating up the speculation that he will someday relocate in the City of Angels. James just recently signed almost a $100 million contract with the Cavs for three years this offseason, with a 2018 player option.

The player option is what it makes more interesting, according to YIBADA English. The report says that James can opt out from the final year of his contract with the Cavs and take the deal with the Lakers. But the most interesting part of LeBron's decision to go to LA is the speculation that he wants to team up with Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Paul.

James earlier made a statement that he wants to team up with Melo, DWade, and CP3 before they retire, and that is possible in LA. Melo's contract with the Knicks expires in 2018 and same goes to Wade with the Bulls. As for Paul, his contract will expire next year and could only sign a one-year deal with the Clippers and be a free agent in 2018.

Although all these may make sense, can the Lakers really have enough cap space to acquire the four superstars? Will James' wish to form the Brotherhood come true in Los Angeles?
