The Boston Celtics is one of the teams which have been in many NBA trade rumors this offseason. They have been linked to having talks with the Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors. However, none of this really happen.

The Celtics is one of the teams which has been looking to improve its rosters. Although they got one of the biggest acquisition last summer in Al Horford, the team still lack the manpower in other position. Celtics general manager Danny Ainge earlier announce that if there is a viable trade that will make them a "contender", they will go for it. Will this new NBA trade rumor convince Ainge?

According to Sportsrageous, a three-team trade deal is being discussed between the Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers. Rumors are suggesting that the Celtics will give up Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart, Amir Johnson and a first-round pick to the Clippers in exchange for DeAndre Jordan. The Clippers will then send Marcus Smart to the 76ers for Nerlens Noel.

The report also says that Jordan will be a good complement to Al Horford in the middle. However, Jordan's weakness is his free throw shooting which is only 43% last season. Despite that he is one of the best defensive centers in the league, he cannot be reliable on end game because of his flaw in the free throw.

In a separate report by Parent Herald, they say that this NBA trade rumor is a bit off and is not likely not going to happen. The Celtics could not afford to lose many players just to acquire Jordan. Also, Smart and Crowder are too valuable for the Celtics to lose.

The report also says that the Celtics can still muster a more feasible deal before the NBA trade deadline or they can wait next summer for more superstars like Sacramento Kings DeMarcus Cousins or Chicago Bulls Jimmy Butler.

Nevertheless, there is still no confirmation on the three teams involve if they reach an agreement because these are still all speculative. Guess fans just have to wait for it to occur before the new NBA season starts.
