DeMarcus Cousins is again hitting the trade rumors today. After being linked to a trade to the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Portland Trail Blazers, the Kings are reportedly eager to send him to the Toronto Raptors.

It is well known to everyone that Cousins and the Kings' organization have a rift in their relationship due to Cousins' statement that he's not happy with how the team is being managed, alongside his openness towards his disappointment on their current roster. Adding to his frustration is that they've never been in the playoffs before. Now, it seems like the Kings will grant his wish.

According to ChattSportsNet.com, a possible trade by the Kings and the Raptors might actually happen. Rumors are saying that the Kings must trade Cousins now before he'll become a free agent in 2018. It also stated on the report that now is the best time to trade Cousins when he still a high-value player.

The reports also say that the trade scenario would be Cousins and point guard Darren Collison will be traded by the Kings to the Raptors in exchange for center Jonas Valanciunas, point guard Cory Joseph and shooting guard Norman Powell. It seems that the Kings is on the losing end by letting go of Cousins but there's no doubt that Valanciunas can fill in his spot.

Asia Starz also reported that then-head coach George Karl also tried to trade Cousins to the Lakers last summer. The trade scenario is suggesting that time to send Boogie to the Lakers in exchange for Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson and then-rookie D'Angelo Russell.

However, Kings team officials, lead by owner Vivek Ranadivé and VP and general manager Vlade Divac, disagreed with the deal that time as they looked at Cousins as their franchise player. But now that Boogie still failed to bring them to the playoffs, they might consider the deal with the Raptors.

Will DeMarcus Cousins suit for the Toronto Raptors before the new NBA season begins? Will he be reunited with Team USA teammate DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry?
