PlayStation VR has been widely anticipated ever since rumors about the advanced game console started to flood the internet months ago.

And now that its imminent launch is already scheduled next month, fans are excited to know what games will be launched with Sony's new game console.  

In response to the clamor of the fans, Sony announced the simultaneous unveilings of PlayStation VR and Driveclub VR on October 13.

The Driveclub video game has always been widely popular among die hard gamers. Especially now that the racing video game will be re-created as Driveclub VR.

Sony shares how difficult of a task it is to create the Driveclub VR as a standalone VR title in their official PlayStation blog. The hit video game have to be re-created from 60 Hz to 120 Hz visuals in stereoscopic 3D.

The VR game is developed by Evolution including Evolution studio veterans who are members of the WWS Immersive Technology group.

With DriveClub VR, gamers can have a different and more thrilling driving through Fraser Valley in Canada or Lake Shoji in Japan. There are a whopping 114 urban tracks and 80 cars to choose from.

The new VR game also has two new controls including Virtual Passenger (re-live best laps while in the passenger seat) and Cruise Control (spend leisure time sight-seeing).

DriveClub VR will be exclusive for PlayStation VR and will be released in Blu-ray and PlayStation Store.

If digital download is preferred by the gamer, the video game is available for $39.99 in the PlayStation Store. For the Blu-ray price, gamers may contact their nearest Sony or other game stores.

Do not worry if you are an existing Driveclub Season Pass owner as you have the option for an upgrade for $19.99. The price and upgrade will apply if you are an owner as of September 28, 2016.
