Grand Theft Auto 6 is surely the most anticipated game this year in the PlayStation event.

It has been years since the release of GTA 5 and fans are just dying to get their hands on the next Grand Theft Auto game. The video game is surely one of the much-loved and powerful games in recent times.

However, fans were left hanging as Sony's event started and ended without a mere mention of GTA 6. This lead gamers and fans to believe that GTA 6 may be cancelled.

GTA fans need not to worry with regards to the release of the much anticipated, Grand Theft Auto 6. According to University Herald, Rockstar releasing GTA 6 is imminent and gamers just need to stay put and be patient.

Besides, with the undeniable success of GTA 5, there is no reason for Rockstar to cancel the GTA game franchise.

It is said that Rockstar is just waiting for the right time and does not want to give fans an 'undercooked' GTA 6.

GTA 6 will likely be VR (Virtual Reality) and even 4K Ultra HD capable at the time of its release. This is following the trend of new game consoles from Sony and Microsoft, the PlayStation Pro and Xbox Scorpio, respectively.

Early speculations reveal that the locations for GTA 6 will be in New York City and Miami. Real-life couple Ryan Gosling and Eve Mendez will also be the voices of the lead male and female.

New money-making missions will include joining the army and robbing banks in GTA 6. Also, there can be tasks like buying houses with money.

If the gaming company will stay true to their habit of releasing GTA every four to five years, then we can expect GTA 6 to be released in 2018. GTA 5 was released in 2013 and has since been a huge success.

However, some fans are speculating that GTA 6 can also be released on the 2017 E3 Conference.
