The start of the week is bringing fans of Square Enix's beloved series, "Star Ocean," something to look forward to: a new streaming series focused on the latest game in the series, "Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness" - with the first episode airing today.

The series, titled "Star Log," was announced over twitter last week and appears to be similar in nature to Square Enix's Active Time Reports which feature information about "Final Fantasy XV," another one of SE's anticipated role-playing games.

The stream series promises to provide a bevy of information about the upcoming game, with the first episode giving fans a chance to learn about the story and meet some of the characters, while the team on deck answers some questions about the game.

"Star Log" will provide fans a chance to learn more information from where the last announcement left us off at. The previous update was a new version of SE's Jump Festa trailer, which showed off an English gameplay trailer and the English voice actors for the first time.

"A new trailer for 'STAR OCEAN: Integrity and Faithlessness,' the latest game in the series, foreshadows an unknown menace headed for the underdeveloped planet of Faykreed, where Fidel Camuze, his childhood friend Miki Sauvester, and a mysterious young girl named Relia, who holds the key to the story, get drawn into a battle that may change the fate of the planet," Square Enix said at the time.

So what do we know about "Star Ocean 5" so far? As seen in the first teaser, the story will take place between "Star Ocean: The Second Story" and "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time," the second and fourth entries in the story. We also know that private actions, as well as the character Welch Vineyard and alchemy will be making a return. Lastly, we know that the game will allow players to have all seven party members battle at once - instead of the three or four from previous entries.

The live stream will start Monday, March 21, at 4 p.m. PST (7 p.m. EST) and fans can choose between SE's Twitch and YouTube channels to check it out.

"Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness" arrives in Japan on March 31 for the PS4 and April 28 on the PS3, US and EU gamers can expect it to arrive in their regions later in 2016.
