The strong Australian cricket team, which started their WT20 campaign with a narrow loss against confident New Zealand on Friday, is looking to bounce back in the tournament with a triumph against the de-moralized Bangladesh.

Australia will take on Bangladesh in their second Super10 Group 2 match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 World Cup 2016 Monday at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

The Kane Williamson-led Kiwi side defeated Australia in a low-scoring thriller at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala. New Zealand had first posted a modest 142 for eight in twenty overs and then successfully defended the target by restricting Australia to 134 for nine in 20 overs.

"We did pretty well to restrict them to 143. The batters are to blame for this one. We didn't apply ourselves well enough and didn't get the partnerships throughout the middle which really cost us," Aussie skipper Steve Smith said. "We've got to turn it round pretty quickly with our next game at Bangalore (against Bangladesh). I'm confident in the group we've got that we can do that."

Bangladesh, which lost their opening WT20 main round clash against Pakistan last week, suffered a major setback on Saturday as the International Cricket Council (ICC) banned pacer Taskin Ahmed and left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny from bowling in international cricket due to illegal actions. The ICC took action against Ahmed and Sunny after an independent assessment of their actions at an ICC-accredited testing centre in southern Indian city of Chennai. They were reported after their side's World T20 opening match against the Netherlands at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala on March 9.

"Arafat's analysis revealed that the elbow extension for majority of his deliveries had exceeded the 15 degrees' level of tolerance permitted under the ICC Regulations for the Review of Bowlers Reported with Suspected Illegal Bowling Actions, while not all of Taskin' deliveries were legal," the ICC said in a statement.
