TellTale Games' adaptation of Robert Kirkman's zombie apocalypse series "The Walking Dead" will have its second season launch on Dec. 17 according to the game's listing on Steam.

IGN expects versions of the game to appear on consoles on that date as well, although TellTale has yet to give any official confirmation on the game so far. However, if the Steam listing is any indication, Dec. 17 will see the launch of the new game that will pick up where "The Walking Dead: 400 Days" DLC left off.

However, this time you won't be playing as the protagonist the game's fans are used to but instead from the point of view of another main character in the games.

"Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad - and sometimes worse - than the dead?" the game's description reads. "As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you, in this sequel to 2012's Game of the Year."

Earlier this week, TellTale gave fans a glimpse of the first screenshot for the game. It featured a familiar face, that of Omid. In addition, both he and Clementine were standing in the photo (pictured above) outside of Gil's Pitstop.

According to TellTale, the title of the first chapter of the game will be "All That Remains." Recently, rumors surfaced that the developer would possibly be working on a similar game set in the universe of another titan of television, George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones.
