Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their divorce eight months ago, but have been on relatively good terms ever since for the sake of their children. After being married for 10 years, and having three children together, the former couple has found ways to still be a family.

The two are often seen together with their children and even still live together on the same property, but no official divorce papers have been filed. Garner even recently broke her silence on the divorce and the rumors that Affleck had cheated on her with their nanny. She wanted to make sure everyone knew that the apparent scandal had nothing to do with their decision to break up, and that Affleck will always be the love of her life no matter what. Despite still being separated, the two are happy with how things currently are going.

"They will continue to live in the house together and have no plans to change that arrangement," a source said. "They are in a really good place right now. A lot of the dust has settled and they have become accustomed to their new life, which is separate but together in a lot of ways. They continue to make the family their first priority and they have always been on the same page about that."

When Garner opened up to Vanity Fair about the divorce, she explained her decision to remain civil with her ex. "You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had," she said. "It's not Ben's job to make me happy. The main this is these kids - and we're completely in line with what we hope for them. Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter's wedding. But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you're going to be friends with that person."

Since the 43-year-old actress has opened up about the split, she doesn't feel she has to talk about it anymore than she already has. "Now the Vanity Fair article is out, neither of them feel the need to talk about the past or the divorce," the source added. "They feel like everything has been answered and they just want to move forward. There is a lot of love between them. They don't know exactly what it's going to look like, but for now what they are doing is working for the family."

The two have been very busy filming and promoting their upcoming films, so they have been "trading off with the kids."

"Whoever isn't working is spending a majority of time with them," the source explained. "When they have time off, they are doing things as a family together...They have a good system in place. Everyone is happy right now."

Garner is also overwhelmed by the amount of positive attention her Vanity Fair interview has been getting. While promoting her new movie "Miracles From Heaven," she revealed that the feedback she has gotten is "very loving."
