Like most games coming out the around this time, developers are given a chance for a small sales resurgence now that next-gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony have come out. Unfortunately for "Battlefield 4" developers DICE and EA, the game has been suffering numerous issues since launching on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and they aren't going to be fixed easily.

The developers have acknowledged the issues and assured gamers that they're working on them. Because of these concerns, the developers have delayed the PS4 update that would solve its faults, which included the ability to kick players from servers, crashing the game application, an absence of Conquest servers and a very volatile one-hit-kill bug that has caused some players to grow very frustrated. According to IGN, the patch has been "rescheduled for a later date" following some additional testing.

However, problems for the game has not just been limited to the next-gen console launches. Following today's release of the Battlefield Premium downloadable map expansion, China Rising, Battlefield 4 players are starting to experience new issues across all platforms. For example, PC users may be unable to access the add-on via Origin since it is restricted due to its wider release date of Dec. 17. Once they're in a match, players have reported finding themselves unexpectedly kicked from the game. Meanwhile, on Xbox 360, some users simply can't join any of the servers for China Rising at all.

So far EA has not mentioned anything having to do with its China Rising DLC release issues. There is no word yet on exactly what the developers at DICE or EA are planning on doing to combat some of these issues but an acknowledgement means they are at least working on some kind of solution As for how long that solution will take remains to be seen.
