The Xbox One has been experiencing some problems since its release earlier this month. Unfortunately for many fans of developer DICE's new next-gen title "Battlefield 4" those problems have extended into the first DLC.

The Xbox One-exclusive "Battlefield 4: Second Assault" download expansion is having issues downloading on many of the new consoles from Microsoft. So far DICE, EA and Microsoft are reportedly investigating the matter in the hopes of finding a speedy solution, according to IGN.

It seems that, after purchasing the DLC subscription package Battlefield Premium, many players have been unable to download the DLC, a timed exclusive for the console only.  Out of frustration, many users took to the forums on Battlelog to voice their complaints.

"I have not been able to access the second assault maps since Monday. I have waited the "few days". When will i get the maps? They should have waited a few days to take my money...." one post said.

"This is ridiculous, a timed exclusive for Xbone and most of us can't even download it," wrote one user.

"They should remove it from the marketplace until its fixed. I paid £40 for something that's broke," said another.

The complaints got so bad that they prompted a response from an EA representative 'EA_Rick' who posted officially on the site:

"I know some of you have said already that it is being looked into but I wanted to just confirm it for you so you guys have a blue post to refer to. Right now all I can say is that we are aware of this issue and are currently investigating this with Microsoft. Once we have some more details I'll be sure to let you know."
