Kaley Cuoco is glad to have 2015 in her past. The "Big Bang Theory" actress opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her divorce from her estranged husband Ryan Sweeting and how she was optimistic about 2016.

"Last year was very bizarre," the actress told DeGeneres. "We all go through really weird ups and downs. And sometimes I'm a little bit more seen. And everyone goes through that stuff, so I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. And you know, it's been rough, but things are going good. I'm much, much better now. I'm in a much better place than I was."

Cuoco and Sweeting, a professional tennis player, were married for a year and a half before their marriage crumbled, a fact that the actress seemed slightly embarrassed by.

"I had the date tattooed on my back and everything to remind me," the "Big Bang Theory" star said. "Yeah, I know. I know. Don't tattoo wedding date. I know. I know."

Cuoco then revealed a new tattoo of a moth she got to cover up the old one. The actress said the only reason she got a moth instead of a butterfly was because "it was big enough to cover the numbers... big wing."

While the 30-year-old may not be officially divorced from Sweeting yet, she sparked new romance rumors earlier this month when she was seen leaving a Grammys after-party with country singer Sam Hunt. In an interview with Extra, the actress was asked if she was dating Hunt, and she brushed all the rumors aside.

"Really not!" Cuoco said. "If I walked out of the stable with my horse, they would say I'm marrying my horse!"
