Despite three of his films being nominated at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards, actor Domhnall Gleeson did not receive an invite to Sunday night's festivities, the actor revealed in an interview, according to Bang ShowbizGleeson starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Revenant," played the lead role in science-fiction thriller "Ex Machina" and had a supporting rol in period romance "Brooklyn," all of which are nominated at the 73rd Annual Golden Globes.

The 32-year-old said that since he wasn't invited to the event, he would be watching the awards ceremony from the comfort of his home.

Domhall, who also starred as the evil General Hux in the record-breaking "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film, was promoting his film, "The Revenant" on the "Today" show with actor Will Poulter when they made the joint admission that they had been snubbed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

When asked by the interviewer whether they were going to attend the Golden Globes on Sunday, Poulter answered, "I don't think so...Potentially."

"The deathly silence suggests that maybe we haven't been invited!  Thank you for bringing it up! We're not gonna be at the Golden Globes. We're gonna watch at home!" added Gleeson, according to The Irish Independent.

"The Revanant" bagged three Golden Globes - DiCaprio for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama), Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu for Best Director and Best Motion Picture (Drama), as HNGN previously reported.
